*My doctoral research is in the field of wind energy conversion systems. Specifically I am interested in the design and characterization of vertical axis wind turbines.

This involves a flow-driven, free-spinning, moving-mesh system that CFDesign has enabled me to model and assess prior to constructing physical models. CFDesign's user friendly interface facilitates concentration on the problem to be solved rather that the intricacies and complexities of computational fluid dynamics. This is a powerful and effective analytical tool that I unhesitatingly and highly recommend.

What is Upfront CFD?

Upfront means to place at the beginning.
